19 letters and 11 envelopes, mostly written by Nathan S. Stanwood in Sacramento to Nancy Delano in Strong, ME. Another letter is to Stanwood from a woman named Abby in Augusta, ME, and also included is a letter from Jasper S. Whiting in Stockton to California State Surveyor Seneca H. Marlette.
